Tour: Benefit opens private gardens

If you are looking for a little inspiration for your own garden or just curious about what’s growing in your neighbors’ back yards, don’t miss the ninth annual “Gardens of Delight” tour.

The Santiam Heritage Foundation’s tour allows visitors the chance to visit eight gardens in the Stayton – Sublimity area.

Visitors will see both emerging and established gardens including a 3-acre garden in an arboretum-like setting, whimsical out-buildings, large and small ponds, masses of annuals and perennials, vegetables and herbs, herbaceous borders, and a 1920s sunken garden.
