Linn County Sheriff Michelle Duncan reports that on Saturday, March 11, at 1:38 a.m., the Linn County Dispatch center received a 911 call about a disturbance at the Red Barn Tavern in Lyons.  The caller reported there were about 20 people fighting in the parking lot and one person had a knife.  Troopers from the Oregon State Police responded to assist deputies with the disturbance.

Investigators determined the male with the knife had left the area prior to law enforcements arrival.  A 27-year-old man from Lyons was treated and released from Santiam Hospital in Stayton for injuries he received from the disturbance.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective Kyle Connelly of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office at 541-917-6675.
