Submission Policy:
We gladly accept letters to the editor and guest columns either by post or email. However, Our Town Santiam reserves the right to edit submissions for space or content. Letters and columns must be received by the the 15th of the month to appear in the upcoming edition on the 1st of the month.

Obituary Policy:
Our Town Santiam offers free and paid obituaries. Free obituaries provide a break to grieving families, but publish on a space-available basis and may be subject to editing. Paid obituaries run as submitted and on a specified date, with a deadline of the 20th of the month for publication on the 1st. For full obituary policies, please click here.

Items for the community events calendar are free and submissions must include date, time, location and cost. Calendar events the 20th of the month to appear in the upcoming edition on the 1st of the month can be submitted to [email protected].
