SummerFest: Sign-ups begin

It’s time to sign-up for the annual Santiam SummerFest.

The event is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July  25 on Third Avenue in Stayton. The downtown will be humming with activities including business, arts and crafts booths, food, entertainment, dog show, car show, quilt show, breakfast in the park, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament and KidZone.

Businesses are encouraged to reserve a space as soon as possible.  Cost of a 10-foot-square street booth is $50-$70.

Stayton-Sublimity Chamber of Commerce will promote the event in newspapers, on the radio and cable TV and posters.

Space is limited; location assignments are on a first come basis. The deadline to register is Tuesday, June 30.  To register or for information, call 503-769-3464 or email sscoc@wvi.com.
