The next step in the process is to form an network of Canyon-area residents who will help brainstorm ideas for new and aspiring entrepreneurs. Called the “Resource Board,” this board is a large group comprised of local residents chosen for their diversity of skills, experience and knowledge.
Enterprise Facilitation professionals are coming to the Canyon area in the beginning of September to offer informational sessions to those interested in learning more about the Resource Board.
The responsibility of the Resource Board’s membership is very limited. The advisory board will meet once a month for 90 minutes to come up with ideas and solutions to obstacles and challenges faced by local entrepreneurs and serve as a resource for the enterprise facilitator. There are no minutes, no votes, and no subcommittees, just an opportunity to share your knowledge and help others.
