Stayton city candidate forum planned for Oct. 12

The Stayton/Sublimity Chamber of Commerce and local media are cosponsoring a public forum to interview candidates running for office in Stayton.

The event is 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at Cartwright’s Music Event Center, 429 N. Third Ave., Stayton.

James Wright will moderate The. candidates for city councilor and mayor will have an opportunity to share information about themselves and their reasons for running.

In addition, candidates will respond to questions submitted by local media.
Seating is limited to 75 due to the space limitations of the venue.

The forum will be streamed live with audio and video on www.kencradio.comS, and also videotaped for later public viewing. For information call 503-769-2778.
