Serving the communities of Stayton, Sublimity, Aumsville, Lyons and Mehama

Nozzle Notes

Notes for Nozzles, a fund-raising concert and silent auction sponsored by the Gates Fire District Emergency Services Support group, is set for Saturday, Nov. 14 in the Santiam High School auditorium in Mill City. The proceeds from the concert and silent auction will go towards building a new Gates Fire Station.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments served prior to the concert. Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. with dessert to follow.

There will be several unique items to bid on in the silent auction and photographer Jerry Korson will be on hand to provide a photo opportunity with some rather interesting props.
Rick Campbell will be unable to play in this year’s event, so veteran musician Glenn Tadina of Stayton will perform.

Reserved seats are $25 and general admission $15. Tickets are available at Mill City Pharmacy, Kelly Lumber, the Gates Post Office, by emailing: rtb@wvi.com or calling 503-897-3365. For questions about the Gates Fire Hall, visit www.gatesfirehall.com, or call 503-897-2929. For questions on how to donate, contact Nancy Swanson at 503-897-3365.
