Community awards – Roots & Wings theme of annual celebration Feb. 20

The Stayton Sublimity Chamber of Commerce will honor local citizens and businesses for their outstanding contributions to the community at its 74th annual Chamber and Community Awards event this month.

Each year the Chamber solicits nominations from local leaders, businesses and community members. A committee of local chamber business leaders and past award recipients reviews the nominations and make the final selections. 

The 2019 Chamber Award of Excellence winners are:

Distinguished Service Award – Erin Cramer, PA-C, Sublimity Medical Clinic

Rising Star – Young Professional of the Year – Melissa Baurer, Service Integration/Community Liaison Coordinator, Santiam Hospital

Small Business – White Water Signs & Graphics

Large Business – Modern Building Systems, Aumsville

First Impressions – Star Cinema

The Stayton Sublimity Chamber in conjunction with title sponsor, Columbia Bank in Stayton, encourages residents, business professionals and local leaders to join in honoring this year’s winners at the Roots & Wings luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Feb. 20 at Foothills Church in Stayton. 

Tickets are $25, which includes a fully catered lunch and silent auction drawing. All award winners receive two complimentary tickets to the event. Tickets can be purchased through SSCOC by calling 503-769-3464 or visit the Chamber’s Facebook page or website, www.staytonsublimitychamber.org.
