Eastman joins Sublimity Insurance board of directors

Oregon-based Sublimity Insurance Company announced the election of Elaine Eastman, President and CEO of Central Willamette Community Credit Union, to the Sublimity Board of Directors at the company’s recent annual shareholders’ meeting.

“We are pleased to add Elaine Eastman to our Board of Directors,” said Andy Trower, president of Sublimity.  “She joins a group of fine leaders committed to Sublimity and its policyholders.”

Eastman joined Central Willamette Community Credit Union (formerly Federal-Metals Credit Union) in 1976.  She has served as the company’s President and CEO since 1995.  Central Willamette, based in Albany, is a state-chartered community credit union, serving customers in Linn, Benton, Marion and Polk counties.

The company has six offices in Albany, Lebanon, Corvallis and Salem. Eastman and her husband, Patrick, reside in Albany.

Sublimity Insurance Co., founded in 1896 in Sublimity, specializes in auto, home, dwelling fire, farm and umbrella business.  Sales in 2012 exceeded $23 million, and the company earned a financial strength rating upgrade to A- (Excellent) from A.M. Best Financial Services Rating Co.
